Party With The Pastors
If you made reservations or you recently started visiting Evangel, please meet us in the Fellowship Hall for Party With The Pastors following the morning Worship Service, where you will get better acquainted with our staff and their families. A luncheon is being prepared for you! 

Life Groups
It’s about relationships, our relationship with God and our relationship with other people. Life Groups are an excellent way to grow in both. Spring Life Groups began last Sunday, and the new Life Groups brochure is available at the Connection Center. Take a look and see all the things that are going on at Evangel!  

Vision Fund

God has blessed us with a wonderful campus and facilities! As good stewards we are raising money to help make some needed renovations. Will you pray about what God would have you do in helping us to pay for these projects? Please make your check payable to the Evangel Vision Fund. Food Pantry
The next time you’re at the grocery store, think about the Evangel Food Pantry! Our Food Pantry is open every Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Stable shelf-life, non-perishable foods are preferred. See the Food Pantry list at the Information Rack for ideas. Thank you for your donations! 

Nursery
Nursery is provided up to age three during all services. During this morning’s service the following ladies are helping in the Nursery: Mollie Rudd, Ann Darst, Marilyn Munyon, and Patty Lewandop. And next Sunday, March 7, Allison Poggie, Kristy Taylor, Patsy Kirkland, and Kelly Neel will be serving.                
Mommy & Me, March 2
This Tuesday, March 2, Mommy and Me will be heading to Zoinks (at 1390 Village Square Blvd.) at 10:30 a.m. The cost of unlimited jumping is $8.99. Only children ages 2 through 12 are allowed to jump. However, there is also a special baby zone for younger children. For those who wish to stay for lunch, please bring $3 to contribute to pizza. If you have questions, please contact Sherilyn Toro.      

           
Day of Prayer and Fasting, March 3
The first Wednesday of every month is our Day of Prayer and Fasting. We are fasting (until 3:00 p.m.) and praying to God for our family and our church, and to anoint us and use us to reach the lost for Christ. Join us for prayer each Wednesday, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., in the Sanctuary.

2010 Winter Jam Tour, March 5
The 2010 Winter Jam Tour is coming to the Leon County Civic Center this Friday, March 5, at 7:00 p.m. This is Christian music’s largest annual tour, with performances by groups such as Third Day, Newsboys, and NewSong. The cost is $10 at the door. If you would like to join us, we will be taking the church van, and leaving from Evangel at 5:30 p.m. For more information about the concert, go to www.jamtour.com. Baby Shower for Renee Lunsford, March 6
David and Renee are having a boy, and even though Olivia and Abby would be happy to share, this new little one is going to need some things that aren’t pink! Join us to celebrate their newest little blessing at this drop-in shower, March 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Renee is registered at Target, Burlington’s Baby Depot and Toys / Babies R Us.  

Baby Dedications, March 7
We will have baby dedications on Sunday, March 7. If you would like to dedicate your little one to the Lord on that day, please make note of that on a Connection Card.

Ladies Night Out, March 9
All ladies are invited to join us for a Ladies Night Out! This month the ladies are meeting for dinner at Cracker Barrel (N. Monroe St.), at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 9. Please contact Judy Neel to make your reservation.

Fellowship Bible Study, March 12
The Fellowship Bible Study meets twice a month, on the second and fourth Friday night. We hope that you will join us at our next Bible Study on March 12, at 7:00 p.m., at Noel and Lou Hurst’s home. Bring a food dish to share, unless this is your first time joining us! You are our guest! For more information, see Gracie Kelso or the Hurst’s.  

 
Walk For Life, March 13
There are just 2 weeks left until the 15th Annual Walk For Life, on Saturday, March 13, at 9:00 a.m., at Maclay Gardens. With your help, the Women’s Pregnancy Center will be able to continue to offer workable, life-saving choices to women and their babies. Continue to gather sponsors and be a partner for life! Fine Arts Festival, March 13
The Fine Arts Festival is a discipleship tool of the National Youth Ministries of the Assemblies of God, designed to help students discover, develop, and deploy their ministry gifts. On Saturday, March 13, our youth will be attending the Fine Arts Festival at the West Florida District in Marianna, FL. See Pastor Ryan or Becky Forkel (385-1815) for more information.

Paradigm Ladies Destin Trip, March 13
Join the ladies in Paradigm for a day in Destin, on Saturday, March 13. There will be lots of shopping, great food, and beaches! We will be meeting at Evangel at 8:00 a.m. If you are interested in coming, contact Terri Todd.   

   
E-Women BreakAway, March 19 - 20
Ladies, be sure to mark your calendars for two special meetings in March. Barbara Benton will be speaking on Friday evening, March 19, at 7:00 p.m., in the Sanctuary. Then, on Saturday morning, March 20, we will start with a brunch in the Fellowship Hall, at 9:30 a.m., followed up by Barbara again at about 10:15 a.m. We know what a joy Barbara is, so be sure to invite all your friends!
