Welcome
Visitors, please fill out the Connection Card from the seat rack in front of you. Following the morning service, we would love to meet with you in the Guest Gallery to the right of the Sanctuary, where we have refreshments and a gift waiting.

Care Network Open House
Come learn about Evangel’s Care Network from others’ experiences and testimonies. This afternoon we will be having a Care Network Open House, from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m., immediately following the morning Worship Service. Finger foods and refreshments will be served.

Farewell Reception for the Perkins Family
Join us this evening, at 6:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall, as our Choir, Musicians, and Technical Team sponsor a reception for the Perkins. Charlie and Bekki are moving to Raleigh, NC, where Charlie will be the Worship Pastor at First Assembly of God. Pray for them to sell their house, and locate suitable housing and schooling for Judson in Raleigh. At the reception, we will receive a free-will offering to bless the Perkins. Please make your checks payable to Evangel Assembly, and we will write one check to Charlie and Bekki.

Bible Study Cancelled
Please note that this evening’s Bible Study is cancelled so that everyone may attend the Farewell Reception for the Perkins family.

Greeter Ministry
Are you outgoing, always have a friendly smile, willing to give a hand shake and a hug? Would you like to show "love with skin on?" Then we have a place for you to serve as a greeter on Sunday morning or Wednesday night. See Ed Neel.

MPact Girls’ Club Teachers Wanted
The Mpact Girls' Clubs is a fun, exciting ministry that takes place on Wednesday evenings, at 7:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall classrooms. The MPact Girls' Clubs are in need of some assistant teachers, as well as volunteers who would be willing to be on a substitute teacher list. If you would like to play an important part in the lives of our young ladies, we could use you! To volunteer, see Marlita Peters, or make note of your interest when you fill out your Connection Card.

Video Café
You can view our morning service on a big screen and enjoy a cup of coffee in the Video Cafe! The Video Café is located downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.

FSU Football Game Part-time Positions
FSU has some temporary part-time positions coming soon, working at the FSU home football games. The pay rate is $7.50 to $9.00. Applications are being accepted at the stadium Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., near Gate C and the police substation. For more information, call (850) 645-5150.

Nursery
Nursery is provided up to age three during all services. Also, there is a room available in the Education Building just for nursing mothers. Just see someone in the Nursery for directions. During this morning’s service the following ladies are helping in the Nursery: Mollie Rudd, Courtney Olsen, Ann Darst, and Amanda. And next Sunday, August 1, Allison Poggie, Karen Burton, Sharon Hercule, and Sarah Rudd will be serving.

Pastor On Call
On weekdays, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., you can call the Church Office at 385-1815. If you find yourself in need of urgent pastoral care outside of regular office hours, please call the emergency cell phone at 694-8676.

Vertical Youth Beach Day, July 31
The Youth are going to the beach at St. George Island on Saturday, July 31st. Meet at Evangel at 9:00 a.m. to take the church van. Bring a towel, sunscreen, a change of clothes, and money for lunch. See Pastor Ryan or Becky Forkel (385-1815 or ryanforkel@evangelag.org) for more information.

Mommy & Me, August 3
On Tuesday, August 3rd, Mommy & Me is going to the Trousdell Aquatic Center (John Knox Rd.), at 11:30 a.m. for swimming and fun in the sun. The cost of admission is $3.50 per person. Please note that Mommy & Me is cancelled on August 17. See Sherilyn Toro for more information about Mommy & Me.

Baby Shower for Deanna Hurley, August 7
A baby boy is on the way! Ladies, let’s celebrate with a baby shower in honor of Deanna Hurley, on Saturday, August 7, at 11:00 a.m., at Dorothy B. Oven Park (3205 Thomasville Rd.) Deanna is registered at Target and Babies R Us. Please RSVP with Debbie Hurley by August 1st.

Church Membership Class, August 8, 15, & 22
This three-week class, on Sunday mornings, August 8, 15, and 22 is for those who wish to become members of Evangel. You will learn about our doctrines and values, about the various ministries of our church, and discover your areas of spiritual giftedness. This class offers us the opportunity to share with you what we believe, as well as gives you the opportunity to interact with and ask questions of staff members. Primetimers Luncheon (ages 50 & up), August 14
Sign up today for our monthly Primetimers covered dish luncheon, which is on Saturday, August 14th, at 12:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a friend, and come out for some good food and fellowship. Recognition will be given to our widows and widowers. See Lois Lecce if you have questions.

Care Pastor Equipping Seminar, August 20 - 21
