Kidventure Kids

Kidventure is the kids ministry of Evangel Assembly. We meet every Sunday at 10:30am. We believe kids should have fun, be creative, learn how to love God, each other, the world and the least. We want to create an environment where kids feel safe and experience God’s love through praise and worship, building relationships, skits, games, creative Bible stories and preaching.

What to Expect

The safety and security of your children are our top priority. From your child’s first visit, we will collect some basic information to get to know your child, and enter them into our system. From then on, each time you check-in, both you and your child will receive a security sticker with a matching 3-digit code, valid only for that day. Please keep the code for yourself and place the name tag sticker on your child. Our leaders are here to ensure your kids have an incredible time. However, if you are needed, we will display your 3-digit code on the monitors in service to alert you. If your number is displayed, head to Kidventure to speak with a leader. At Pick-Up time, please enter the line labeled “Check-In & Pick-Up”. We will then call your child’s name, and one of our leaders will match the number on your child’s sticker to the number on your sticker, prior to releasing them. Every adult that serves in ministry to a child (ages 18 and under) has undergone a background screening.

Kidventure kids get to experience their very own service with praise & worship, a message, skits and games. The atmosphere is friendly, enjoyable and exciting! Our leaders serve to ensure your kids encounter God, have fun, and feel loved.

Keeping children safe is our primary focus. We have planned a smooth, organized and efficient children’s check-in and pick-up process to give parents and guardians a feeling of confidence that their children are safe in the care of competent and diligent people.

Our randomly-generated tag codes heighten child and nursery pick-up security and give care- givers vital information about allergies and other special needs or alerts, while making it easy to contact parents if necessary. Evangel Assembly has your child’s best interest in mind when it comes to safety and security. All of our volunteers are screened and background checked.

If your child is sick or not feeling well, we ask that you refrain from bringing him/her to Kidventure. Out of consideration to our kids, families and volunteers, our guidelines require that children who are ill will not be allowed into nursery or classrooms. This includes any children experiencing one or more of the following symptoms:
+ Fever over 100.4
+ Vomiting
+ Diarrhea
+ Skin rashes or eruptions
+ Coughing associated with a respiratory infection
+ Runny nose which has a yellow or green discharge
+ Pinkeye, which is often accompanied by a yellow/green discharge or thick drainage from the eye
+ Parasites such as nits, lice, mites, or ringworm
+ Drainage, in any form, from the ear
